It’s been awhile since I’ve done a post about what’s going on in my little neck of the woods. Fall is here and we’ve traded neon yellow sandals with bows for pink moccasins and socks. We’ve swapped trips to the ice cream shop for baking all things pumpkin, cinnamon, and apple. We’re still drawing with chalk outside, trying to soak up as much of that warm sun before the snow hits, but we’re also painting pumpkins and assembling foam spooky houses from the local craft store (which by the way requires way more assembly and hot glue than you’d think). And most importantly to my little one this year…we’re planning for Halloween. This year she knows what it is. She has picked out her own costume for the first time, and asks everyday “Mommy…is it time to go trick or treating?” and sometimes “Is it Halloween time now?”
