2016 Wedding Favorites

I always want to do a “best of” blog post every year and share my favorite images and moments of the year from my weddings. But, to be honest it’s so overwhelming! I feel a connection with all my clients as well as to their style, family interactions and all the details that go into to making their wedding day personal. It makes it hard for me to narrow it down. But lo and behold I did it this year! And you best believe it took me forever as I kept narrowing it down from thousands to 500 to just a little over 200.

I lovelovelove me some pretty portraits as well as detail shots but I also love the real moments that happen on wedding days. Every part of your day is equally important. From your mom fastening that last button on your dress to you and your friends getting crazy on the dance floor. And of course all those events in-between, you know, like getting MARRIED!

I want my couples to be able to hang beautiful portraits of themselves from their wedding day on their walls AND reflect back on the story of their entire day in a book. I want my bride to remember the speech her dad gave during dinner as he told her that when the doctor handed her to him that she was the most beautiful baby he had ever laid eyes on. I want my grooms to remember their crazy antics with their guys. And most importantly I want my couples to remember why they fell in love, why they decided to make a major commitment to share their lives and grow together.
